Geronimo
Enjoy a relaxing cruise to the marine preserve of the Marietas Islands aboard a 2-hulled catamaran. On the way, your expert naturalist guide will explain the bay and the ecosystem that exists within it as you enjoy a free continental breakfast. After a wonderful cruise, you'll arrive at Las Marietas, where you can enjoy fantastic snorkeling in the protected marine park with an expert snorkeling guide who may show you seahorses, octopus, or puffer fish.
Along the way, you may see Humpback Whales (in season), dolphins, manta rays, sea turtles, and dozens of varieties of seabirds including the rare Blue Footed Booty which exists only at Las Marietas and the Galapagos Islands.
After snorkeling, you'll be treated to lunch on the boat and the bar opens up, the music comes on, and you'll have fun all the way to beautiful Manzanilla Beach where you can relax, swim, kayak, or sample one of the beach restaurants. Geronimo! The name invokes images of adventure and thrills, and that is exactly what this twin-hulled catamaran does.
After a continental breakfast you set sail from Vallarta and head straight to Marieta's Islands, home to thousands of birds, including the Blue Footed Booby, or Bobo as it is known here. Along the way, you may see turtles, dolphins, giant manta rays, and humpback and grey whales when in season.
Approaching from the north, you will view Marietta's full majesty of these islands and their rocky outcroppings. At Marieta's Island you will have an hour and one half to snorkel, swim, or just enjoy sunning on the deck with a cold drink from the bar.
From the island, you will sail to a private beach, known for soft sand and clear waters for a two hour beach break, including kayaking and snorkeling.
After the beach break, it's back to the Geronimo for a special lunch of chicken ala-Geronimo, salad, chips and salsa, open bar, and live music.
